A little about termites & termite control.
Termites don't hate sunlight.
Termites are not related in any way to vampires. The workers are blind ( having no eyes at all ).
It's not sunlight they don't like. It's the absence of their humidity controlled environment.
Sometime in the past some bright spark observed termites dying when isolated above ground
and concluded that it must have been the sunlight that killed them. The world was also flat once.
Inground termite baits DON'T 'attract' or 'lure' termites.

All scientific field studies have proven that 'attraction' is a myth.
Some manufacturers go on about CO2 scent trails but in reality these scent
trails are everwhere in the soil. Timber baits aren't the only things giving off CO2.
Good old fashioned rainwater contains CO2 in varying concentrations resulting
in a sub soil confusion of CO2 trails. Termites simply explore the sub soil looking for
food sources above their heads. They search at a depth of 100mm - 150mm because the
temperature is more constant. Did I just say 'above' their heads ?
Termites actually hunt for food ABOVE their heads.
Termites and micro organisms make sure our trees are well fed.
Generally, termites establish nests under trees and forage for food out to the limits of the roots.
When branches fall termites ( with or without the help of soil organisms ) convert them into food
for themselves and nutrients which return to the soil to feed the trees. Termites rarely kill trees.
Termites will consume food sources encountered in the soil but their main food is ON the soil.
It's NOT easy to spot early signs of termite activity inside homes.
Statistically, termites are active for an average of 4 years before being detected
by standard visual inspections ( which comprise around 95% of all termite inspections ).
Termite resistant timbers may help.
Hang on, weren't they once called termite proof timbers ?
Yes, but the effective treatments have been progressively banned.
'Termite resistant' doesn't inspire as much confidence as 'Termite proof' now does it.
Homes on a concrete slabs are not safe.
Some of the worst attacks have occured to homes on concrete simply
because the home owners have become complacent.
Steel frame homes CAN be attacked.
It has recently been discovered that termite activity can remove the protective coating
and your structural support can 'rust'.
No fancy website = less hidden cost for YOU to pay.
There is a very fancy web site out there promoting one of the most popular systems on
the planet. It's popularity cost a multi-national a fortune to generate. The only problem is
that the system is an absolute dog based on a premise that has since been proven incorrect.
I make no apology for having a simple website.
It has enabled me to eliminate yet another hidden cost.
